Margot Stole My Heart with Brunch….

I enjoyed a very Lovely Brunch last weekend with my good friend Jay at Margot in East Nashville.

Here is Jay looking very excited about the food we are getting ready to devour!

I love the decor in Margot, down to the tiniest little touches.
The dimpled glass water carafe left at the table so you never have to flag down your server to request a refill….

The summer flowers lovingly picked from Margot’s very own garden…
The delicate china used to plate their exquisite french inspired dishes…Love it!
The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined and the servers wear jeans and clean white aprons.
And what luck for me to come to Margot on a day where they had Escargot on the menu!
My favorite!

They were plump and perfectly cooked with garlic bread crumbs and fresh herbs!

Here I am adoring my Escargot with a soft look of affection:

Jay and I both ordered the Gruyère Crepes with Potatoes.
(Crepes are my other most favorite thing)

They were very, very well executed.
It was one of those days where we just hung out for a bit…. Jay drank his coffee and I sipped on my Bellini and we never felt rushed or hurried out in any way.

Perhaps I’m simply lucky to have never had a bad experience at Margot or their sister restaurant right down the street Marche, but I honestly haven’t and can hardly ever wait to go back.
Seriously, check out Margot next time you are looking for yummy!!
