Dusk in Looe and a cemetary stroll…

No matter where you are in the UK, you are never that far from a beach.
Living in London, surrounded by concrete and sky scrapers every day, I forget this.

Growing up in a land-locked state, the closest beach was a 7 hour drive.
I was 12 years old before I ever saw the ocean and it was a truly magical experience.
It’s still magical. Every single time. Even if it’s a freezing cold England beach and there is zero chance of actually getting a tan or taking a swim!

During our weekend getaway to Cornwall, we spent a few hours in the lovely little seaside town of Looe.

We just missed the sunset…

On our drive back, my husband spotted a spooky looking graveyard poking out from behind some dark trees and loudly announced “creepy graveyard”, promptly pulled a U-turn, and drove down a narrow forest path to a errie looking church. It was almost nightfall.

I looked over at him and smiled. “You so totally get me. I love you”
