As much as I love and adore food, sometimes it’s just nice not having to chew.
I know I’m going to catch flack for saying that, but it’s true.
That’s why there is such a market for smoothies, milkshakes, & meal replacement drinks.
I’ve had nearly every meal replacement shake on the market over the years and muscle milk light is most definitely my top pick.
I went through most of my adolescence drinking Instant Breakfast in the mornings, which is tasty…but not very filling….and quite sugary @ 18 grams of sugar per serving for the dry mix.
I switched to Slimfast around my late teens early 20s but at some point I got tired of the metallic taste and lack of real nutritional value.
I flirted with EAS shakes for a bit, but never really liked the aftertaste enough to commit.
Then I found Muscle Milk Light, and though it does have an aftertaste…I have only tried the chocolate flavor, and I actually LIKE the aftertaste! It’s this sort of coconutty flavor, and I love coconut and chocolate so I’ve been buying a caseload at a time at Costco for super super cheap.

Muscle milk light has 160 calories, 20 grams of protein, 5 grams of fat, 1.5 grams saturated fat,and 3 grams of sugar.
Try it out…but don’t give up on chewing altogether.
The EAS Carb Control Dark Chocolate is really good I think. 17g of protein to hold over an appetite for a few hours. Never tried MuscleMilk but I’ll take your recommendation. That’s a great price at Costco too.
EAS also made a line (maybe still do) of coffee flavored protein shakes that were also pretty good. I prefer to buy in bulk though & save money FO SHO!
